Summary: today we had a sub and we read more of the story and answered questions  Reflection:  today was a good day it’s the last week of school 

Write about a song that brings back a specific memory.    Prompt Response:   "Firework" by Katy Perry brings back a special memory for me from 8th grade. During our school talent show, my best friend performed a dance routine to that song. The energy and excitement in the room were incredible, and we all cheered so loudly for her. Whenever I hear "Firework," I remember that night and how proud I felt of my friend. Summary: today we worked on our project and we finalized everything and chilled  Reflection:  I got all my missing work turned in in every class and it’s almost break and I go on vacation very soon 

  Write about something that you believed as a child. Prompt Response:   As a child, I firmly believed that if I swallowed a watermelon seed, a watermelon would grow in my stomach. I was so cautious whenever I ate watermelon, making sure to spit out every single seed. The idea of having a watermelon growing inside me seemed both fascinating and terrifying at the same time! Summary: today we took the benchmark that’s it.  Reflection:  today was a chill day I’m not ready for finals at all 

Describe a time you couldn’t stop laughing.   Prompt Response:    Once, during a family game night, my cousin tried to act out "kangaroo" in charades. His exaggerated hopping and funny faces were so hilarious that I couldn't stop laughing, and it made everyone else laugh too! Summary: today we had a 11th grade meeting and talked about our future and the things we needed to do in order to graduate.  Reflection:  I had a good day I had no game today so I went home and went to sleep pretty much I’m just glad I woke up this morning. 

  Write about a fear you have overcome. Prompt Response:   I used to be terrified of public speaking. My heart would race, and I'd worry about messing up. But through practice and taking small steps, like speaking in front of smaller groups first, I gradually built my confidence. Now, I feel much more comfortable and even enjoy it sometimes. Summary: today in class we started a presentation on a lesion before dying and it was easy and it was a chill day I was a little behind because I couldn’t log in.  Reflection:  today was a good day I enjoyed it and it’s a Monday so im just ready for the week to be over 

Write about an unforgettable meal.    Prompt Response:   One unforgettable meal I had was during a family vacation to Italy. We stumbled upon a small, family-run restaurant in a quaint village. The atmosphere was cozy, with rustic decor and the aroma of fresh herbs filling the air.   I ordered a traditional Italian lasagna, and it was unlike anything I had ever tasted. The layers of pasta were perfectly cooked, and the rich, savory meat sauce blended seamlessly with the creamy béchamel. The cheese on top was golden and bubbly, adding the perfect finishing touch.  Summary: today we read chapter 5 and skipped chapter 4 and answered questions I still don’t really like it but work is work  Reflection:  my day was good I’m glad I woke up this morning 

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.    Prompt Response:   Something I can't stop thinking about is the future and what it holds. As a girl, I often find myself contemplating my career, relationships, and personal growth. There's a mix of excitement and anxiety about the unknown, but I try to focus on the positive possibilities. The idea of achieving my dreams and making a difference in the world keeps me motivated and hopeful. Summary: today we read and answered questions to chapter 2 and 3 I’m starting to like this story a little more but I kinda still don’t like it.  Reflection:  

  Write about a time when you were judged unfairly. Prompt Response:   There was a time when I was judged unfairly during a group project in school. Despite putting in a lot of effort and contributing significantly to the project, one of my teammates accused me of not doing my share of the work. This was really frustrating because I had spent countless hours researching and compiling information. The situation escalated to the point where our teacher had to intervene. Thankfully, after reviewing the contributions, it became clear that I had indeed done my part. It was a tough experience, but it taught me the importance of clear communication and documenting my contributions. Summary: we started a new story a lesson before dying and it’s a little scary but also interesting I did my questions and finished everything  Reflection:  today my day was good I’m getting all caught up with late work 

  Prompt:  Write about a conversation that changed you. Prompt Response:  a while back I had a conversation with my mother about the real world and how life is going to be when I graduate and it changed the way I viewed adulthood i am ready and a little more prepared now that I really know but I am also scared to be on my own without my mother but because of the conversations I know what to expect and look for. Summary: today in class we did a worksheet on our vocabulary and I fisnished it completely. Reflection:  today was a good day I’m just glad I woke up
